As founder and managing principal of Individual Differences at Work, Jean Stetz-Puchalski creates an environment for growth and development where motivation, creativity, learning about the process of change, personal success and resiliency intersect.
Jean brings her experience as an organizational consultant and executive coach with over 15 years of corporate and small business experience to the work she does with clients. She understands the nuances of interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, organizational behavior, strategic planning, business systems and strategies. This makes her uniquely qualified to help clients meet complex workplace and career challenges. Her approach includes applying behavioral research in a business context, offering personalized solution-focused learning and organizational development consulting, assessment, and executive coaching services to individuals, teams, and organizations.
Jean belives partnering with clients, whether they are individuals looking to invest in themselves or organizations looking to develop their high potentials or build stronger team interactions results in success. She helps clients to identify and leverage core leadership competencies, recognize and meet developmental challenges, recognize and manage emotions (emotional intelligence), and manage conflict strategically.
Success is measured by clients reporting observable behavior changes that lead to increased employee balance, resiliency, engagement, improved performance, and increased alignment to organizational goals and more sustainable business outcomes.
Jean holds a Masters Degree in Applied Industrial Organizational Psychology, a Human Resources Certificate, and is a graduate of the Executive Coaching Academy. She holds certification and/or c level consultant status in the leading assessment tools measuring leadership/business compentencies, motives/ values/ behavioral preferences, emotional intelligence, conflict management, whole brain thinking preferences, cognitive ability, stress, career or job preferences, 360 degree feedback /multi-rater feedback.
Jean keeps current with science and practice in her field. She serves on the board of the International Coach Federation of Connecticut (ICF-CT) as Co-Chair of Programs, Education and Professional Development and serves on the ICF Global Regulatory Committee. She is current leader and past Co-Chair of the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Programs of the Connecticut Psychological Association. She has membership in the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Psychological Association (APA), Connecticut Psychological Association (CPA), Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Giving Back
Jean’s passion for personal and organizational growth and development extends to involvement in her community. She actively supports sustainable agriculture and horticulture in the town where she lives. Jean is a Beekeeper, Certified Master Gardener and Certified Master Composter and has volunteered her time and led community projects such as the award winning EGC Easton Farm Map, the annual CFE Easton Farm Tour, and conservation projects such as the Toth Park Remediation Garden: enhancing the reparian buffer. In 2010 she was appointed as Chair to the newly formed Agricultural Committee for the Town of Easton. In 2011 she and her team successfully transitioned the Committee to Commission status where she currently serves as Chair. Jean is also a supporter of military families, volunteering her time to work with the Family Readiness Group of the Connecticut National Guard promoting resiliency in families and soldiers moving through the cycle of military deployment to successful reintegration.
